Nike wanted to help and so a new basketball training platform was born. Hyper Courts transformed street courts into personalized coaches using data and design.
It shows you more than 80+ curated drills, unlocks exclusive content as you advance, and keeps track of your progress. All content load in HD with zero buffer, thanks to Google data tech.
1000+ different assets. 600+ illustrations and design elements. 100+ videos. App built from the ground up.
When I was brought into the project as an art intern initially, Hyper Court was still in its beta phase, just the barebones with a simplified mechanic and tech. Shadowed him in every step of the process, learned and soaked everything I could. Beyond grateful to be mentored by Aste, the Regional Creative Director for Nike at the time.
One year later, when everything was ready for production, I was called to join as a freelance AD. Call it baptism by fire figuratively and literally because this project ignited my love for the creative process even more. And it’s got two of my greatest loves—basketball and pop culture.
P.S. LeBron actually spoiled the Hyper Court to the world one week before we officialy launched it. He’s the King, he wasn’t reprimanded.
